Composite Decking

Commercial or Residential Composite Decking

Composite decking is a practical and long-lasting alternative to real wood. It looks great and is available with a number of added benefits. It has taken inspiration from the character of natural timber and created an alternative which is a massive improvement. The decking we use is moulded from carefully selected timbers (and hand-coloured) for an incredibly natural appearance, with an exact look and feel as hardwood – yet designed to outsmart it.

Composite Decking

Environmentally-friendly, we are proud to say that we provide quality garden and patio decking fitter services in Southend and Essex. Here at Southend Decking fitters, we truly live by our promise to deliver high-end landscaping services. We lay decking made from highly sustainable materials.

Our official composite decking is made from a unique combination of wood fibres and plastic from reclaimed or recycled materials. Compared to wood decking that can last for ten years, our decking has an expected lifespan of at least 25 years.

Composite vs Timber Decking

Whilst more traditional timber decking systems offer a more natural and smoother look, they do require a high level of upkeep and care to maintain a useable and visually aesthetic finish. This is where a composite deck can really be worth investing in. Offering a year round crisp and maintenance free finish with none of the complex and mitre movements of timber decks. It is also a safer product as the ‘slippiness’ associated with a normal deck (caused by a large build up) is eliminated by a synthetic deck’s non-weathering finish.

Whether it’s a raised deck to give an elevated seating area to help catch those summer rays of sunshine, a surround for an existing swimming pool, pond or flower bed, composite raised or split level decks are an ideal solution.
